OOTO is set in the fields and woodland of the Sussex Downs, in the vale of the Long Man of Wilmington.

This is a magical family event that resonates with the rhythms of the cosmos. The focus of the festival is education, healing and entertainment. (Edutainment) We are building a stone circle on the site dedicated to world peace, called the “Peace circle”, and last year, using ancient techniques, the stone circle was aligned to the equinox sun. This year we will be aligning the circle to the equinox full moon - An event not to be missed.

OOTO is a university of alternative knowledge in the Sussex countryside, very near to Brighton, featuring an extensive line-up of superb speakers and workshops by some of the world’s most renowned experts in the fields of ancient and sacred knowledge and healing. The wide variety of scheduled talks and workshops will include opportunities to use solar and stellar telescopes, learn about the constellations with laser guided tours or see the sky of a thousand years ago in the planetarium.

Wake up with Yoga, take a gong bath in the healing area, and after a day of talks, workshops and fun for all the family there is the chance to enjoy some of the finest up and coming UK bands on the Radio Reverb stage, catch a stage show or relax with a cup of Chai in the cinema. Entertainment will consist of live and acoustic bands, DJ's, poets and performers. There will be an ethical market, locally sourced food, Wines and ales.

OOTO is a family and community event powered by alternative energy. We have a zero waste policy and ask that attendees take home all of their waste and recycling. This event is to be a flagship for sustainable living, promoting green and ethical businesses.
